Sponsoring orphans

2- Family Sponsorship: The sponsor covers, for $90/month (*), the basic needs (food, education, and healthcare) of a family of orphans (2 or more).

3- One-time Contribution: Anyone who does not sponsor an orphan can still support them occasionally by helping cover their needs during the following occasions:

• Back-to-School: Purchase of school supplies ($70)
• Day Camp: 10-day summer camp vacation ($70)
• Holiday Basket & Gifts: Purchase of clothing and gifts ($70)
• Eid: Purchase of a sheep (±$395) or an Eid basket ($90)

Soleil des Orphelins relies on its teams and local partners on the ground to deliver your donations to orphans in need. These partners provide us with orphan profiles and enable us to monitor their situation within their communities. They work directly in the field with orphans by offering moral and financial support, facilitating their education, monitoring their academic progress and health status, and organizing activities for their benefit.

Thanks to your donations, some of these activities—such as Eid food baskets and the purchase of school supplies—are largely funded by SDO.

In addition to the monitoring provided by our partners, SDO periodically visits selected orphans to assess the improvement in their living conditions. We have several teams and partners operating on the ground in different cities across Morocco, Tunisia, Togo, Niger, and Chad, including: Al-Hidn, Alyatim, Aide & Secours, AlAoun, Naim, Qaterat Khair, Yusr Foundation, Développement Sans Frontière, Your Gaserine, CIAO, Tayeba, Dignité Humaine, and others.
